Job Duties
- Assigned to clean and disinfect surgical, procedural, and specialized areas such as sterile processing
- Cleans and maintains various floors surfaces including carpet, wood, marble, vinyl, VCT, stone, tile, slate
- Performs floor care using equipment such as ride-on, walk-behind, and manual operated machines for scrubbing, buffing, and polishing floors
- Apply wax and other floor care products under the guidance of EVS leadership
- Cleans, polishes furniture and fixtures in assigned areas and arranges furniture and/or equipment as directed
- Dispose of biochemical waste in accordance with policy and procedures
- Cleans floors with vacuums, dust mops, and/or wet mops
- Collects and removes trash and recyclable items and deposits to designated area
- Maintains security and confidentiality of areas by locking/unlocking doors and performing related functions
