Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work evening shifts
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to follow hospital isolation protocols
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely
- Must work onsite at the hospital
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily including collecting and removing trash changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
- Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift
- Uses critical thinking skills decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Works in a fast-paced environment and takes appropriate action
