Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Knowledge of general cleaning procedures in a healthcare environment highly desired
  • Ability to learn proper cleaning procedures
  • Ability to learn proper management of cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to learn proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Basic phone and computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license or government issued ID

Job Duties

  • Perform essential daily cleaning and sanitation duties in healthcare environments
  • Support infection prevention by adhering to hygiene standards
  • Facilitate timely patient room turnovers to support patient flow
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with patients and healthcare staff
  • Use and manage cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment properly
  • Adjust workflows and assigned areas to meet facility needs
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in all assigned areas
