- housekeeping experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- knowledge of proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
- ability to converse, comprehend and communicate verbally in English
- ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members, patients, and visitors
- ability to maintain confidentiality of issues and materials designated as such

- acute healthcare work experience preferred
- ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment including buffers, extractors, and vacuums

- capability to work tactfully and effectively with a diverse team and hospital visitors
- commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Job Duties
- perform a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary conditions of all campuses
- utilize basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- ensure proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- handle housekeeping chemicals safely
- operate heavy equipment such as buffers, extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
- communicate effectively in English with team members, patients, and visitors
- maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
