Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role preferred
- Ability to work full-time evening shifts
- Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be onsite—no hybrid or remote options
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in janitorial or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and full-time hours
- Dependability and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
- Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift
- Works with minimal supervision using critical thinking skills
- Takes appropriate action in a fast-paced environment
- Enhances the appearance of the healthcare facility
