Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work evening shifts as scheduled
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing walking bending and lifting
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing techniques
- Ability to follow health and safety policies
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily including trash removal bed linen changing and surface sanitization
- Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary
- Maintain cleaning cart and equipment in clean working condition and store properly after shift
- Use critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgement
- Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Take appropriate action to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
