Job Duties
- Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures
- Operates manual, battery-powered and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums
- Maintains and stores all equipment in a safe, sanitary manner
- Collects, handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner
- Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans
- Identifies and reports work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs
- Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair
