- u.s. citizenship
- suitability for federal employment as determined by background investigation

Job Duties
- performing a full range of light and heavy cleaning duties and routine housekeeping tasks
- maintaining cleanliness in wards, patient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and shower rooms
- sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors using machines, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture
- emptying waste baskets and removing trash
- cleaning light fixtures and Venetian blinds
- washing walls, windows, and ceilings using ladders
- replenishing toilet tissue and towel dispensers
- moving furniture as needed
- addressing spills quickly to maintain safety
- carrying out assignments with minimal supervision
