Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
- no certifications required
- no licenses required
- must produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to employment
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- ability to comply with hospital policies and procedures

Job Duties
- perform daily linen duties
- clean inpatient, ancillary, outpatient and administrative hospital areas
- ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff
- maintain hospital cleanliness standards in compliance with The Joint Commission and State of Alaska regulations
- support infection control protocols by thorough cleaning and sanitation
- report maintenance issues to appropriate departments
- adhere to hospital policies and procedures for environmental services
