Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience preferred
  • DOT HAZMAT Certification required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Capability to safely use housekeeping equipment and chemicals
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and team meetings

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience preferred
  • DOT HAZMAT Certification required
  • Driver license preferred
  • Demonstrates competency in safe use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
  • Proficient in English for effective communication
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of general and moderately complex cleaning tasks in assigned specialty areas
  • Maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures
  • Follow Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) standards for turnover and terminal cleaning of procedure rooms
  • Work with floor maintenance equipment and chemicals safely
  • Handle and interact with hazardous materials for appropriate disposal
  • Assist with conference room setups and linen distribution, collection, and tracking
  • Respond promptly and positively to requests from patients, staff, and visitors
