Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience in lieu of high school education
- 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience required in lieu of high school education
- Less than a year of experience as an environmental associate required
- Ability to work full-time night shifts
- Physical ability to perform floor maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of safe chemical usage and cleaning protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience in lieu of high school education
- Less than a year of experience as an environmental associate preferred
- Healthcare or hospitality experience preferred
- Floor tech experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
Job Duties
- Maintain floors through mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
- Practice safe work habits by using chemicals and cleaning equipment appropriately
- Cross train to perform Environmental Services Technician I duties when needed
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met to support patient safety and operational efficiency
- Assist with other cleaning duties as required to maintain hospital hygiene
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to environmental services
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to appropriate personnel
