Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience in lieu of high school education
  • 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience required in lieu of high school education
  • Less than a year of experience as an environmental associate required
  • Ability to work full-time night shifts
  • Physical ability to perform floor maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of safe chemical usage and cleaning protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of housekeeping or environmental services experience in lieu of high school education
  • Less than a year of experience as an environmental associate preferred
  • Healthcare or hospitality experience preferred
  • Floor tech experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation

Job Duties

  • Maintain floors through mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
  • Practice safe work habits by using chemicals and cleaning equipment appropriately
  • Cross train to perform Environmental Services Technician I duties when needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met to support patient safety and operational efficiency
  • Assist with other cleaning duties as required to maintain hospital hygiene
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to environmental services
  • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to appropriate personnel
