- ability to distinguish differences between levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection
- ability to explain orally or in writing the differences between levels of disinfection and perform intermediate level disinfection where required
- ability to operate necessary equipment/machines
- effective use of computers and mobile devices
- ability to respectfully listen to viewpoints and ideas of others
- ability to communicate openly and candidly
- ability to work without close supervision
- physical ability to perform medium work exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties
- maintaining safe and clean environments for patients, staff, and visitors by primarily cleaning procedural areas established by the department
- providing excellent customer service when working with patients, visitors, and staff
- applying industry knowledge in cleaning specific departments such as Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, and other unique procedural areas
- performing low and intermediate level disinfection
- operating necessary cleaning equipment and machines
- communicating openly and respectfully with team members
- working independently without close supervision
