Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Can distinguish the differences between levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection
- Ability to explain orally or in writing the differences between levels of disinfection
- Ability to operate necessary equipment or machines
- Effectively uses computers and mobile devices
- Respectfully listens to viewpoints and ideas of others
- Communicates orally or in writing openly and candidly
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly

Job Duties
- Maintaining safe and clean environments for patients, staff, and visitors by primarily cleaning procedural areas that are established by the department
- Providing excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members
- Demonstrating industry knowledge in cleaning specific departments such as the Emergency Department and Operating Rooms
- Performing low and intermediate level disinfection according to hospital protocols
- Operating necessary cleaning equipment and machines
- Using computers and mobile devices effectively for work-related tasks
- Listening respectfully to viewpoints and ideas of others
