Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow infection control practices
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely
- Availability to work part-time from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday including every other weekend
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow infection control practices
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage cleaning supplies inventory
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain a safe environment in all designated areas using proper germicide cleaning products and following infection control practices
- Clean, vacuum, sweep, and/or mop all floors and carpets
- Clean windows and dust blinds and woodwork
- Clean resident beds and rooms upon discharge, handling infectious waste appropriately
- Maintain work carts, supply closets, and non-motorized equipment, keeping them stocked and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates
