Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent substitute
- One year experience in general housekeeping
- One year experience as an employee of CAMC
- Ability to read and write
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment use
- Ability to maintain high standards of work
- Availability to work day shift
- Compliance with attendance policy
- Good judgment and professionalism around patients and visitors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year experience in general housekeeping
- Knowledge of department policies and cleaning techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
- Competency in patient group knowledge for direct patient contact positions
- Strong customer service and coworker relation skills
- Ability to follow organizational and departmental policies
Job Duties
- Provide cleaning services as directed by supervisor or director
- Perform floor care and project services
- Access secure medication supply areas to complete assigned duties
- Maintain high standards of cleaning and safety
- Respond to emergencies, spills, and special needs promptly
- Interact positively with staff, patients, visitors, and colleagues
- Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean and orderly condition
