Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- two to three years experience in health care environmental service or linen work preferred
- ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
- physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- commitment to patient confidentiality and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean fixtures sinks toilets and tubs and empty and clean waste containers replace liners high dust i.e. vents clocks tops of doors door frames make beds with clean linen upload linen data into hospital laundry computer cleaning in-house linen
- clean patient room furniture using disinfectant or all-purpose cleaner
- dust mop and wet mop floors and baseboards change mop water per 3 rooms
- empty and clean waste container and replace liner
- high dust top of door doorframe ceiling vent and above lights using high duster stick
- clean fixtures sink mirror pipe fixtures
- clean door glass windows windowsills and blinds using glass cleaner
- replenish soap dispenser towel dispenser as needed
- dust mop and wet mop bathroom floors and baseboards using disinfectant or all-purpose cleaner
- wash bathroom walls fixtures light covering pipe fixtures holder bar baby changing station
- replenish bathroom soap paper towel toilet paper dispensers and baby wipes
- change shower curtain in bathroom
- vacuum carpet and furniture in nurse lounge locker room and staff areas
- clean nurse station sink cabinets counter tops and refrigerator
- empty and clean waste container and replace liner in nurse station
- clean and disinfect linen carts prepare linen for distribution and check linen inventory orders
- dust mop and wash corridors walls doors wall fixtures handrails fire extinguisher and peepholes
- clean meeting rooms conference rooms furniture floors and walls
- clean playrooms dust furniture baseboards wash windows sills and spot wash walls
- dust mop and wet mop kitchen floors baseboards clean sinks counters and cabinets dispose trash separate biohazard waste
- vacuum carpet and clean waiting area upholstery
- clean labs opd and rehab areas following disinfecting protocols
- clean snack bar areas including microwave dust mop floors and clean counters
- ensure proper handling and labeling of biohazard waste
