Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in environmental services or healthcare cleaning preferred
- strong communication skills
- basic computer literacy
- ability to perform physical tasks requiring up to 50lbs of force occasionally
- knowledge of disinfection levels and cleaning protocols
- ability to operate cleaning machinery
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of low and intermediate level disinfection techniques
- ability to explain the differences between levels of disinfection
- experience using power and specialized cleaning equipment

Job Duties
- maintain a safe and clean environment in procedural areas including operating room, gi, cath lab, ir, pharmacy clean rooms, and sterile processing
- perform terminal cleans following procedures and established department standards
- provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- utilize industry-specific knowledge to clean emergency departments and other unique procedural areas
- operate power equipment, floor machines, carpet cleaning equipment, wet and dry vacuum equipment, and push sweepers
- communicate openly and respectfully with team members and coworkers
- work independently without close supervision
