Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • One year of experience preferred
  • Demonstrates competencies necessary to safely perform assigned duties
  • Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and coworkers
  • Ability to multitask and complete work within designated time frames
  • Capable of performing duties with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates safe and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing for effective communication
  • Demonstrates skills necessary for safe and efficient job performance

Job Duties

  • Performs general cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas
  • Interacts professionally with patients, families, and staff to maintain positive communication
  • Participates actively in team meetings and promotes a positive work environment
  • Responds promptly to requests for assistance and information
  • Follows established room cleaning processes to ensure timely patient admissions
  • Maintains adherence to infection control standards and OSHA safety regulations
  • Documents and reports any safety hazards or repair needs effectively
