Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- One year of experience preferred
- Proficiency in English language necessary to perform essential functions
- Ability to safely perform assigned duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers
- Capability to access department and hospital information resources
- Ability to multi-task and complete work on time
- Ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
Job Qualifications

- One year of experience in environmental services preferred
- Proficiency in English language skills for effective communication
- Ability to safely perform assigned tasks with attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation and positive communication skills
- Ability to access and use department and hospital information systems

- Efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
- Demonstrates ongoing competency through assessments and performance evaluations
Job Duties
- Maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures
- Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas to provide a safe and attractive environment for patients, guests, and staff
- Interact positively and professionally with patients, family members, and staff
- Participate actively in team meetings, huddles, and communication to promote a positive work environment
- Respond promptly and positively to requests for directions and information
- Perform efficient room cleaning processes to ensure timely patient admissions
- Follow department processes for room cleaning, discharge inspections, safety checks, and documenting maintenance needs
- Use chemicals, paper goods, supplies, and equipment responsibly
- Manage time effectively to prioritize daily tasks and minimize overtime
- Participate in continuing education and contribute ideas to improve department processes
