Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One year of experience preferred
- Demonstrates skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the job
- Proficient in English language for essential job functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family, and co-workers
- Ability to access required information within department and hospital
- Multi-task oriented with time management skills
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintains environmental and infection control standards within policies and procedures
- Performs general cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas
- Responds promptly to requests for assistance with directions and information
- Performs efficient room cleaning processes ensuring timely patient admissions
- Follows department process for room cleaning and discharge inspections to meet cleanliness scores
- Tracks, logs, and notifies management of safety and repair needs for equipment during discharge activity
- Uses and stores chemicals, paper goods, supplies, and equipment appropriately during shifts
