Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
- one year of experience preferred
- proficiency in English language required
- ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and coworkers
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- willingness to wear uniform and scrubs
- availability for on-call emergencies
- no travel required

Job Duties
- Maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures
- performs general cleaning tasks in assigned areas to provide a safe environment
- interacts positively with patients, family, and staff
- participates in meetings and promotes a team-focused work environment
- responds promptly to requests for assistance with directions and information
- performs efficient room cleaning to ensure timely patient admissions
- follows processes for room cleaning and discharge inspections to meet cleanliness scores
- tracks and notifies management of safety and repair needs
- follows policies, procedures, and safety rules including OSHA standards
- manages and appropriately uses supplies and equipment during shifts
- participates in continuing education and suggests improvements for department efficiency
