Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Willingness to work part-time with rotating shifts including nights, evenings, days, and weekends
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including moving furniture and equipment
- Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Willingness to respond to emergency codes as directed
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Some related work experience preferred but willing to train
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Clean cath/ PV and EP labs
- Select cleaning materials and prepare chemicals
- Load maid’s carts and transport to work area
- Clean assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solutions
- Clean high touch areas such as door knobs, handrails, telephones, light switches, walls, ceilings, vents, televisions, and windows
- Sweep and mop floor areas, vacuum and spot clean carpets, arrange furniture and equipment
- Request cleaning supplies and equipment
- Operate mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment
- Clean equipment and notify manager of any repair needs
- Report safety hazards to manager
- Clean carts and equipment and replace items orderly
- Climb ladder to hang cubicle and window drapes
- Collect waste and hazardous waste
- Clean isolation rooms during patient stay and post-discharge
- Clean operating suites using prescribed cleaning solutions
- Arrange furniture for meetings
- Assist with delivery of laundry carts to patient areas
