Job Requirements
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to follow safety procedures and infection control practices
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions
Job Duties
- Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA regulations
- Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient or resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making and stripping, removal of general and hazardous waste
- Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures
- Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
- Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
- Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
- Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers
- Secures the facility by ensuring building is locked or unlocked as required
- Ensures security of company assets
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
