Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in hospital environmental services preferred
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively
- Ability to respond promptly to communication devices
- Capacity to work as a contractor on a per diem basis
- Availability for day shifts
- Ability to travel between hospital buildings without assistance
Job Qualifications
- One year of knowledge in acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively
- Familiarity with hospital safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate communication devices such as radios and pagers
- Commitment to teamwork and quality care
Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings
- Travel between multiple facilities within the healthcare campus as required
- Respond to and initiate communication via phones, handheld radios, pagers, etc.
- Follow established environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures
- Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols
- Support hospital staff by ensuring a clean and sanitary environment
- Document and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during duties
