Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to stand for majority of shift
- capability to lift and bend frequently
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to use housekeeping equipment
- no contact with medications is allowed
- comfort working in a smoke-free environment
- flexibility to work second shift hours, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Make beds following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned
- inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair and report problems to the supervisor
- replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply
- clean all assigned areas including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment following established procedures
- maintain assigned equipment in clean working condition and report problems and suggestions to the supervisor
- remove trash from all assigned areas
- follow all safety and sanitation regulations
- move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets as assigned
