- Ability to read simple directions and follow instructions
- Must complete extensive training and certification for high risk terminal cleaning
- Willingness to complete yearly training
- Ability to demonstrate customer service skills
- Cognitive problem solving ability

Job Duties
- Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance request either from automated system, daily assignment sheet or verbal direction
- Performs other functions required of the position, including moving beds or furniture
- Follows departmental and organizational processes to complete assigned duties
- Completes all paperwork needed to monitor departmental statistics
- Follows direction and proper usage of all equipment including cleanliness
- Notifies appropriate area through work order process to maintain equipment and miscellaneous items
- Keeps assigned carts and areas stocked to appropriate levels including linen distribution
- Completes other duties as assigned including storeroom maintenance
- Provides high level of customer service throughout the organization to patients and other customers
