Job Duties
- performs timely patient room cleaning and provides cleaning support to various departments
- cleans daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, office cleaning and ancillary area cleaning
- cleans assigned building exteriors
- refills dispensers and collects waste receptacles in all required areas
- completes project work such as wall washing, trash removal, and removal of biohazardous linens and sharps containers
- assists with hospital emergency clean up
- actively participates in and accomplishes patient satisfaction initiatives
- adheres to all hospital safety standards regarding use of chemicals, equipment and marking hazardous areas
- follows hospital policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- performs other duties as assigned or required
