Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- No previous experience required
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing as required by environment or regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
- Physical ability to reach, stand for long periods, squat, bend, carry and/or lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 pounds or more up to 80% of the time
- Ability to operate light floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to clean areas requiring technical cleaning including IR, Cardiac Cath, Mother-Baby, NICU, OR, ED
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provides cleaning and sanitizing services to support a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, offices, clinics, clinical and procedural areas, and public spaces
- Supports patient safety through consistent and high-quality service
- Demonstrates ability to support the cleaning and disinfection of high-acuity clinical and procedural areas
- Applies disinfection protocols and utilizes approved cleaning tools in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policy
- Conducts hazardous and biohazardous waste removal in compliance with safety regulations and infection prevention protocols
- Proactively communicates and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure cleaning processes support patient safety and care flow
