- high school diploma or equivalency
- ability to work day shifts including every other weekend
- capability to respond quickly to emergencies
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- good judgment around patients and visitors
- willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in cleaning or environmental services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- good communication skills
- reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- promote sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors
- demonstrate knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools
- perform all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor
- maintain equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions
- respond rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills
- exercise good judgment while working around patients and visitors
- work every other weekend and every other major holiday
