Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend English language
- Ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions
- Minimum one year experience as a housekeeper with above average performance rating

Job Duties
- Assist with auditing work assignments for their shift
- Assist the manager and coordinator with training new and existing staff
- Give functional direction to the housekeeping technicians on projects and assignments
- Observe cleanliness, neatness, damage and needed repairs and report to the appropriate staff
- Inspect areas within the hospital and outside the building using quality assurance forms
- Monitor and maintain adequate supply of chemicals or supplies and request approval for stock ordering
- Move furniture and other equipment
- prepare set-ups for meetings
- clean off-site and contracted hospital areas including offices, halls, stairwells, stairs, elevators, diagnostic areas
- Move and arrange tables and chairs for meetings or special functions
- Move heavy furniture and equipment for terminal cleaning
