Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions
  • One year of experience as a housekeeper with above average performance rating

  • One year of experience as a housekeeper with an above average performance rating
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend English language
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions

Job Duties

  • Assist with auditing work assignments for their shift
  • Assist the Manager and Coordinator with training new and existing staff
  • Give functional direction to the Housekeeping Technicians on projects and assignments as requested
  • Observe for cleanliness, neatness, damage and needed repairs and report to appropriate staff or enter into MIS
  • Inspect hospital and outside building areas using Quality Assurance forms
  • Monitor and maintain adequate supply of chemicals or supplies and request approval for ordering stock
  • Move furniture and equipment and prepare set-ups for meetings and special functions
  • Clean offices, halls, stairwells, elevators, diagnostic areas including furnishings, floors, walls, restroom facilities and floor cars
  • Move heavy furniture and equipment for terminal cleaning
