- previous experience in acute care setting preferred
- must read, write and speak fluent English
- good and regular attendance
- ability to perform cleaning and maintenance duties
- good interpersonal skills
- willingness to perform other related duties as assigned

Job Duties
- Selects cleaning materials and prepares cleaning solutions
- loads service cart and transports to work area
- cleans assigned area including walls, doors, tile, fixtures, patient TVs and equipment with germicidal solutions
- sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpet
- spot cleans carpet using appropriate solutions
- cleans restrooms, vanity areas, showers and commodes
- replenishes essentials
- collects and removes trash, sanitizes garbage cans and compactor area
- may collect and transport hazardous waste for sterilization
- may collect soiled linen and distribute clean linen
- arranges furniture for meetings, workshops and community affairs
- returns unused supplies to janitor closet ensuring all supplies are replaced in an orderly manner
