Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required or minimum 3 years of directly relevant job experience may substitute education
- 0 to 6 months experience required
- ability to read write and perform basic addition and subtraction
- ability to comply with basic oral and written instructions

Job Duties
- Clean patient rooms including trash removal wiping surfaces cleaning bathrooms spot washing walls dry and wet mopping floors stocking rooms with supplies make beds indicate room availability telephonically
- clean nursing units and public office medical areas including nurses stations conference rooms utility rooms bathrooms showers storage rooms offices kitchens hospital entrances waiting areas corridors restrooms locker rooms sleep rooms offices and emergency rooms
- respond to requests for STAT cleaning
- perform project work such as buffing stripping waxing floors cleaning carpets cleaning and changing mats cleaning upholstered furniture washing windows washing and rehanging curtains and blinds scraping residual paint from fixtures and moving equipment furniture supplies and boxes
- stock cleaning cart and supply closets mix cleaning solutions
- report deficiencies in patient rooms and throughout the hospital to shift supervisor and management
- perform terminal cleaning with UV machine in operating rooms patient rooms restrooms and public areas and use electronic tablet for UV cleaning cycles and data collection
