Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Previous environmental services experience is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and follow verbal and written instructions
- Customer service driven
Job Duties
- Soiled linen removal and collection
- Responsible for trash collection and bathroom cleaning, project cleaning and spill cleanup and/or disinfection
- Responsible for making beds-unoccupied
- Clean occupied patient rooms daily
- Must maintain patient and staff confidentiality
- Dust and wet mopping, additional floor care as needed
- Maintains furnishings
- Clean offices, waiting rooms, and public areas
- Terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms
- Attend/participate in mandatory educational programs as defined by both hospital and departmental policies
- May be exposed to medications and will direct nurse services to address the immediate issue
- Perform other duties as assigned
