Job Requirements
- Minimal education
- Ability to read and write English
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction
- Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
- Ability to climb intermittently during the day
- Ability to push or pull 70-150 pounds
- Ability to lift 10-40 pounds
- Willingness to be exposed to chemicals, bioburden, and cleaning products
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of patient areas, residence areas, offices, laboratories, restrooms, exam and treatment rooms, and lobbies
- Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
- Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain a hygienic environment
