Job Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Proficient in speaking and reading the English language
- Ability to be on feet for an extended amount of time
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to do excessive bending and physical movement
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment
- Good time management skills
- Able to demonstrate positive customer service skills
- Be able to work weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare housekeeping, laundry, linen, or floor care preferred
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Proficient in English language speaking and reading
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate positive customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and bending
Job Duties
- Provide a clean and sanitary environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff
- Follow departmental guidelines and manager instructions for cleaning protocols
- Use housekeeping powered equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within assigned shifts
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as necessary during cleaning duties
- Demonstrate positive customer service skills during interactions
- Participate in weekend rotation shifts as required
