Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Proficient in speaking and reading the English language
  • Ability to be on feet for an extended amount of time
  • Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to do excessive bending and physical movement
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to demonstrate positive customer service skills
  • Be able to work weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare housekeeping, laundry, linen, or floor care preferred
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Proficient in English language speaking and reading
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate positive customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and bending

Job Duties

  • Provide a clean and sanitary environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff
  • Follow departmental guidelines and manager instructions for cleaning protocols
  • Use housekeeping powered equipment safely and efficiently
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within assigned shifts
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as necessary during cleaning duties
  • Demonstrate positive customer service skills during interactions
  • Participate in weekend rotation shifts as required
