Job Duties
- Cleans premises utilizing specified cleansing techniques and chemicals while adhering to specified time frame
- dusts and polishes furniture and equipment
- cleans venetian blinds, window sills, cabinets and closets
- dusts and spot cleans walls, baseboards and doors
- arranges and rearranges furniture before and after cleaning
- washes bathtubs, sinks, tiles, toilets including fixtures
- replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- sweeps and mops rooms and corridors
- vacuums appropriate areas
- empties and cleans trash receptacles and wastepaper baskets
- gathers and disposes of refuse
- bags and boxes and tags red bag waste and removes to designated areas
- removes bulk refuse to designated areas
- keeps housekeeping supply closet in good order
- requests cleaning supplies as needed
- performs related duties as required including assisting with floods, snow and other emergencies
