Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work scheduled evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM
- Ability to work alternate weekends
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to assist in emergency situations such as floods and snow removal
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and proper handling
- Ability to work evening shifts including alternate weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Cleans premises utilizing specified cleansing techniques and chemicals while adhering to specified time frame
- Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment including tables, desks, chairs, filing cabinets
- Cleans Venetian blinds, window sills, cabinets and closets
- Dusts and spot cleans walls, baseboards and doors as required
- Arranges and rearranges furniture before and after cleaning
- Washes bathtubs, sinks, tiles, toilets including fixtures
- Replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels
- Sweeps and mops rooms and corridors
- Vacuums appropriate areas
- Empties and cleans trash receptacles and wastepaper baskets
- Gathers and disposes of refuse including red bag waste and bulk refuse to designated areas
- Keeps housekeeping supply closet in good order and requests cleaning supplies as needed
- Performs related duties as required including assisting with floods, snow and emergencies
