Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in cleaning or related maintenance duties preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders
  • Ability to complete a physical ability test as a condition of employment
  • Willingness to work the scheduled shift from 3pm to 11:30pm
  • Commitment to follow health and safety protocols
  • Eligible to work full time
  • Ability to handle exposure to cleaning solutions and biohazardous waste

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Capability to complete written forms accurately
  • Related cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
  • Physical ability to perform continuous walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing ladders
  • Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks following the 7-Step cleaning process and disinfecting discharged patient beds
  • Follow a maintenance schedule for floors and carpets
  • Clean fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators, and equipment exteriors
  • Empty trash, wipe and reline containers, and operate compactors when necessary
  • Replenish disposable items like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
  • Move and reset furnishings to their original locations after cleaning
  • Perform all methods of floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction using specified equipment
