Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in cleaning or related maintenance duties preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders
- Ability to complete a physical ability test as a condition of employment
- Willingness to work the scheduled shift from 3pm to 11:30pm
- Commitment to follow health and safety protocols
- Eligible to work full time
- Ability to handle exposure to cleaning solutions and biohazardous waste
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Capability to complete written forms accurately
- Related cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
- Physical ability to perform continuous walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing ladders
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks following the 7-Step cleaning process and disinfecting discharged patient beds
- Follow a maintenance schedule for floors and carpets
- Clean fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators, and equipment exteriors
- Empty trash, wipe and reline containers, and operate compactors when necessary
- Replenish disposable items like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Move and reset furnishings to their original locations after cleaning
- Perform all methods of floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction using specified equipment
