Job Requirements
- One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel between facilities without assistance
- Ability to respond to communications via phone or radio
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
Job Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings
- Travel between different facilities as needed without assistance
- Respond promptly to communications via phone, handheld radios, or pagers
- Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, and specialized hospital environments
- Dispose of waste materials according to hospital protocols
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
