Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of experience in hospital environmental services preferred
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work independently
- physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- willingness to travel between hospital facilities
- strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred
- ability to read, understand and communicate effectively
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently and reliably
- good physical stamina
Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings
- travel independently between facilities as needed
- respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, and pagers
- adhere to hospital safety and sanitation protocols
- support infection control initiatives
- restock cleaning supplies and equipment
- report maintenance issues promptly
