Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
experience in a service industry preferred
experience working in a hospital preferred
ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
ability to do repetitive motions
patient-facing role requiring professionalism
compliance with all safety and health standards
valid for work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Experience in a service industry preferred
experience working in a hospital preferred
ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
ability to print and speak simple sentences
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
able to do repetitive motions
understands and shows respect for patient rights, including confidentiality
adheres to all Stormont Vail policies and procedures
follows dress code and attendance policies

Job Duties

Performs daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, shared spaces, and/or floors
cleans and maintains equipment
handles hazardous waste properly
handles, stores, and dilutes chemicals as necessary
performs area/room set up and dismantling
performs other duties as assigned
complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
