Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience preferred
- DOT HAZMAT Certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Commitment to follow safety and infection control protocols
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of related experience preferred
- DOT HAZMAT Certification within 90 days required
- State driver's license preferred
- Demonstrated competency in housekeeping equipment and chemicals
- Proficient in English communication
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Customer service focused communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform general and moderately complex cleaning tasks in specialty areas
- Follow AORN standards for turnover and terminal cleaning of procedure rooms
- Use floor maintenance equipment and chemicals safely
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials appropriately
- Set up conference rooms and manage linen distribution
- Maintain environmental and infection control standards
- Report safety and repair needs to management
