Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years or older
- ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- must comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
- ability to perform tasks using commercial cleaning supplies and chemicals
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to interact positively with customers and team members in line with company values
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to bend, lift, carry, and stretch regularly
- ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures
- dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement
- cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment
- deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entry ways
- keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notifies supervisor of supply needs
- seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks
- completes all tasks assigned by supervisor
- performs tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines
- maintains positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
- projects a positive image and serves as a role model
- provides fast and friendly checkout experience
- engages customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments
- assists with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
- participates in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- supports shrink and safety programs
- adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and company programs to ensure compliance
