Job Requirements
- ability to stand, walk, push, and pull for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to maneuver carts and equipment throughout the hospital
Job Qualifications
- prior porter, housekeeping, environmental services, or hospital support experience preferred
- healthcare facility experience strongly preferred
- knowledge of safe lifting techniques and proper waste handling
- understanding of infection control principles preferred
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- strong time management and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical stamina to perform duties throughout the shift
- bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred if applicable
Job Duties
- transport materials and equipment throughout the hospital
- safely handle and dispose of waste
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- follow infection prevention protocols
- assist with the organization of supplies
- support the Environmental Services team
- adhere to hospital safety regulations
