Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year formal housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- May be required to have driver’s license

- Ability to work independently without direct supervision

Job Duties
- Ensure that assigned areas are cleaned and disinfected according to departmental procedures
- May set up furniture in conference rooms
- Maintain housekeeping cart, restock paper receptacles, replace sharps containers, and order supplies essential to the job
- Respond to emergency cleaning needs or housekeeping requests in a timely manner
- In clinical areas, communicate with clinical personnel to determine priority of cleaning needs
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning carpets, washing walls, ceilings, furniture and fixtures, emptying trash, and restocking supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
