Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- prior experience in environmental services or cleaning preferred
- ability to work evening shifts including every other weekend
- ability to handle physical tasks involved in cleaning and sanitation
- willingness to respond to emergency cleaning needs
- ability to adhere to safety protocols

Job Duties
- Responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital
- promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors
- may be required to perform tasks involving exposure to visible blood contamination or anticipated blood contamination
- responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills
- performs other duties as assigned
