Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- effective communication skills
- attention to detail and reliability
Job Qualifications
- previous housekeeping or environmental services experience, hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- clean and disinfect patient rooms following infection control standards
- remove trash, soiled linen, and biohazard waste in compliance with safety guidelines
- restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers and vacuums
- respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills
- follow daily cleaning checklists and maintain required documentation
- maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
