Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • effective communication skills
  • attention to detail and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping or environmental services experience, hospital or healthcare setting preferred
  • knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
  • ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • clean and disinfect patient rooms following infection control standards
  • remove trash, soiled linen, and biohazard waste in compliance with safety guidelines
  • restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers and vacuums
  • respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills
  • follow daily cleaning checklists and maintain required documentation
  • maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
