Job Duties

  • prepare monthly evaluation of expenses
  • prepare accruals and intercompany transfer entries
  • create and distribute weekly overtime report
  • adhere to all standards of behavior
  • exhibit excellent customer service skills
  • communicate with patients, visitors and customers using appropriate scripting and engagement techniques
  • clean and disinfect patient rooms and ancillary areas including bathrooms, public areas, corridors and medication storage rooms
  • clean all designated patient room equipment and maintain patient room cleanliness
  • replenish supplies as needed
  • remove bio-medical waste, trash and soiled linen
  • change cubicle and window curtains as needed
  • push and pull cleaning carts, move supplies and equipment, carry buckets, operate cleaning equipment
  • complete patient room and bathroom cleaning using approved procedures and bed management systems
  • maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with policies
  • maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
  • adhere to standards of precaution, SDS and hand hygiene directives
  • complete all mandatory training and attend in-services
  • participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
  • maintain productivity and volume standards
  • keep current with all policies and procedures
  • perform other related duties not directly assigned
