Job Duties
- prepare monthly evaluation of expenses
- prepare accruals and intercompany transfer entries
- create and distribute weekly overtime report
- adhere to all standards of behavior
- exhibit excellent customer service skills
- communicate with patients, visitors and customers using appropriate scripting and engagement techniques
- clean and disinfect patient rooms and ancillary areas including bathrooms, public areas, corridors and medication storage rooms
- clean all designated patient room equipment and maintain patient room cleanliness
- replenish supplies as needed
- remove bio-medical waste, trash and soiled linen
- change cubicle and window curtains as needed
- push and pull cleaning carts, move supplies and equipment, carry buckets, operate cleaning equipment
- complete patient room and bathroom cleaning using approved procedures and bed management systems
- maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with policies
- maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- adhere to standards of precaution, SDS and hand hygiene directives
- complete all mandatory training and attend in-services
- participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
- maintain productivity and volume standards
- keep current with all policies and procedures
- perform other related duties not directly assigned
