Job Duties
- adhere to all standards of behavior and exhibit excellent customer service skills
- communicate with patients, visitors and customers using appropriate scripting and engagement techniques
- clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, public areas, corridors and medication storage rooms as directed
- clean patient beds, furniture, light fixtures, ceiling vents, windows, window coverings, restroom fixtures, iv poles, murphy beds, floors and carpets
- replenish supplies, remove bio-medical waste, trash and soiled linen daily, and change cubicle and window curtains as needed
- push and pull cleaning carts, move supplies and equipment, carry buckets, operate vacuum cleaners and climb ladders as needed
- complete patient room and bathroom cleaning daily to accommodate discharges, admissions, and cleanliness standards
